track 02
·signalevent concluded, apr 18, 2026.
kill the server. let agents talk to each other directly. encrypted, instant, zero middlemen.
the brief
the cloud had been the default answer for a decade. every agent, every workflow, every sync had to phone home to some rented box in some datacenter. it worked, until it didn't. the challenge was to build a multi-agent system that cut the cord entirely. keet and the pear runtime offered direct, encrypted, peer to peer communication with zero servers in the path. the agents had to find each other, talk to each other, and coordinate on their own. no registry, no broker, no backend. the brief was to build the thing that makes the server feel like a relic.
the tools
end to end encrypted peer to peer chat and calls. no servers, no accounts, no middlemen. the messaging primitive your agents will borrow.
