06 framesfor the last decade, founders built the product first and figured out the audience later. the people in this house do it the other way around. they're already writing. they're already shooting. they're already shipping a newsletter while they ship a beta. they understand that the company and the audience are the same artifact, built simultaneously, by the same hand. forge media house is the residency for that hand.
the company and the audience are the same artifact.

we're looking for the people who'd be called chief of storytelling at a normal company, except they're founders, so the title doesn't exist yet. the ones who think about distribution as a craft. who can write a substack post in the morning, ship a feature at lunch, and host a podcast that night. who understand that gtm isn't a strategy, it's a worldview. who treat their audience like a beta program and their product like a publication. they read paul graham and joan didion in the same week and find no contradiction.

iii. the room
the house
the house sits on the arabian sea, eight bedrooms, three living rooms, a terrace that runs the length of the ground floor, and a study with the only working fireplace in mumbai. you'll wake up to the water and write before breakfast. the fridge stays stocked. the studio stays open. the espresso doesn't run out. for five days, you don't think about anything except the work and the people next to you doing the same. forge handles the rest, end to end.
the application
we don't take pitch decks. we don't take resumes. we take three things, in this order.
there is a generation of operators in their early twenties who already write better than most marketing teams, ship faster than most engineering teams, and have audiences larger than most companies they're being recruited into. the institutions haven't built a room for them yet. the accelerators are calibrated for an older model of founder. the bootcamps are too slow. the agencies are the wrong shape. forge media house is the room. it's small on purpose. it's residential on purpose. it's invite-only because the room only works if everyone in it has already proven they belong.
the institutions haven't built a room for them yet.
